Tamahide is a historical oyako-donburi (a rice box with meat and egg on top) shop. It is a very popular shop in Tokyo, so don’t be surprised if there’s a long queue of hungry customers waiting for their rice boxes. If you want to try the meaty and juicy rice box, you have to arrive early. Since the price of the lunch set is a lot cheaper than the dinner set, we recommend you try the traditional lunchbox.
