Miraikan, meaning ‘hall of the future’, provides visitors with opportunities to gain an insight into the cutting-edge science and technology in various ways, including permanent exhibitions, demonstration, experimental lessons and websites, to name a few. Visit the Gaia theatre for a unique and fun experience. Moreover, don't miss the popular interactive demonstrations of the humanoid robot ASIMO and the lifelike android Otonaroid.

4. “Miraikan” is a nickname that means “Future Museum”. Its logo, a sphere crossed by bands, suggests many scientific images, from a tiny atom to a planet orbited by satellites.

5. Meet the robot ASIMO when you visit! The museum puts on four 10-minute demonstrations every day for visitors.
