1. Starlight Garden

The highlight of this celebratory event is the “Starlight Garden,” a 2,000 square metre plaza covered in 180,000 blue LED lights. The centerpiece presents a cosmic atmosphere when all the LED lights are lit together and people get the illusion that they’re in space.

2. The “Welcome” Christmas Tree

What would Christmas be if it didn’t have a tree? Tokyo Midtown has a fantastic Welcome tree that has “welcome” written on the tree in more than 30 languages. Christmas is a holiday commemorated worldwide therefore every visitor is welcomed to join the celebratory festival. The tree also marks the introduction of the magnificent illuminations.

3. Exclusive Christmas Tours

Special tours would be held exclusively during the Christmas period, the tours consist of Christmas stories and taking strolls in the illuminated Tokyo Midtown. Live music is another big part of this event, Tokyo Midtown welcomes Christmas with a series of live performances of Christmas Carols.
