If you are a student, pay a visit to the Yushima Tenjin. Founded in 1355, the shrine is linked closely with Sugawara no Michizane (845-903), a Confucian scholar. Numerous Japanese students visit the shrine at exam time, praying for success in the future through Kami of Learning. Also, some believe the nadeushi right outside the shrine brings healing and health. No matter which version you believe, Yushima Tenjin is certainly a place worth visiting!
Transport Yushima Stations via Chiyoda Line; Ueno-hirokoji Station via Ginza Line.
