The Tokyo Marathon is one of the six World Marathon Majors, along with the races in Berlin, London, Boston, Chicago, and New York City. Join the marathon in February and you can explore and admire the beautiful urban city scenery while running. The Marathon starts at the Metropolitan Government building, and passes many of Tokyo’s main tourist spots, including Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Asakusa and Ginza, and finally ends at the Tokyo Big Sight. Over two million spectators will come and cheer for the runners every year.

• Marathon: Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building — Iidabashi — Imperial Palace — Hibiya — Shinagawa — Ginza — Nihombashi — Asakusa Kaminari-mon — Tsukiji — Toyosu — Tokyo Big Sight (The course is certified by the JAAF and AIMS)
• 10km Race: Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building — Iidabashi — Imperial Palace — Hibiya Park
